How to get the best benefit from Eden Extract

How many do I take?

The amount of Eden Extract that you should take varies according to the reason you are taking it.

According to Dr Morton Walker in his book ‘Olive Leaf Extract – Nature’s Antibiotic’

“I personally take olive leaf extract daily, in a maintenance program against getting infections of any kind. Each day under usual conditions of stress, my dosage is 2 capsules. I ingest one capsule on an empty stomach upon rising, (about 7:30am) and a second capsule approximately 2 hours after lunch (about 3:30 pm). If I’m traveling overseas or around the United States on an assignment or if I commute into New York to consult one of my publishers, I increase my dosage by at least half (3 capsules daily). In my experience, olive leaf extract furnishes extra energy to sustain me against the stress of travel, and cope with the vast amount of pollutants and germs present in any metropolitan area.”

The Nevada Clinic in Las Vegas utilises olive leaf extract for many of its patients suffering from infections of all types. The administrator furnishes a written recommendationthat it hands out for treatment of an illness:

“Recommended dosing is four 500 mg capsules throughout the day or one every six hours. It (olive leaf extract) is best taken before or between meals. For acute flu symptoms, take two capsules every six hours. For acute (bacterial or viral) infections, more rapid relief may be obtained by talking three or more capsules every six hours. Healthy individuals need only take one or two capsules a day to benefit from the supplement’s energising and/or preventative effect In general, the older the infection and more toxic the individual the more the resistance present in the body, so more of the supplement that will be required for optimal results”.

Drink Plenty of Good Pure Water!

When you are combating a particular problem with more than 2-3 capsules a day, be sure and to drink enough good, pure water (filtered or spring). We recommend drinking 500 ml of water for each capsule you take. Water helps boost the lymphatic system and flush the kidneys.

Drinking large quantities of water should help prevent a detoxification overload (Herxheimer Response). If one does occur, large doses of vitamin C (3 to 4 g per day or more), with plenty of water usually provide the needed relief. For minimal discomfort, a simple over the counter analgesic such as aspirin or ibuprofen will reduce the discomfort until your body catches up with the elimination process. For more than minimal discomfort, you might consider reducing the daily intake, or even discontinuing use for a few days. It may take a day or two, or even a week, for the body to process and eliminate the toxins produced by the dead microbes. After a few days, resume taking the Eden Extract at a slightly loweramount, and increase slowly.

Remember Eden Extract is not the problem, it’s the destruction of various microbes and the subsequent release of toxins and dead proteins into the bloodstream that are causing the reaction. Thus, it’s actually a good sign – it means that the Eden Extract is working.

How Does It Work?

Eden Extract is not a “miracle cure” – neither is it a “magic pill” that will solve problems overnight. Rather, it is a special dietary supplement that plays an important part in helping fight disease-causing pathogens and thereby boosting the body’s immune system.

With long-standing problems, especially yeast overgrowth (candidiasis), you may not see an improvement right away. Because of Eden Extract’s effectiveness against a very wide spectrum of pathogens, it is our opinion that the extract kills invading microbes as it encounters them. As a result, the extract may be “used up” while attacking microbes and parasites in the body which have not yet breached the body’s defences, before getting to the problem that is already manifesting itself with symptoms. Therefore, if you are using Eden Extract for a particular condition of ill health and don’t see immediate relief don’t despair … the extract should eventually address that problem as well.

Eden Extract – is it working for you?

Very often we hear that “Eden Extract has helped but not as well as I expected”, or “it helped but the problems still persists”. Almost invariably when we enquire as to how many capsules are being taken the answer is 2 to 3 per day.

This regime is fine for a healthy person on a maintenance program to keep free of infections, but for anyone who has a chronic problem, and one that is long established and persistent, this is not enough. We also know that most people are not as disciplined about the regularity and timing of when they take their supplements as they should be.

To get the real therapeutic benefit of Eden Extract it is important to saturate one’s blood stream and to keep it like that all day and every day until the symptoms reduce. Remember to get rid of disease you need to kill the pathogens causing it, not just suppress them! If Eden Extract hydrolyses in the blood to form elenolic acid, a powerful isomer which will kill pathogens (it prevents viruses replicating, dissolves bacteria, destroys fungus and parasites) but there has to be enough of it continually in the blood for it to be effective.

The following program, as well as those mentioned by Dr Walker, has been found by many users to give good results:
Take 2 Eden Extract capsules every 4 hours (for example at 7:30 am; 11:30 am; 3:30 pm and at 7:30 pm) together with a glass of purified water to swallow the capsules and to help flush the toxins out of the body. For really stubborn problems consider even taking through the night at same time span. Continue until symptoms improve (this can be anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months depending on the circumstances) then reduce to half the amount for a further four weeks.
